Greetings, SportDork Nation!!  We do have a problem, and that problem is my job, and what it's doing to my ability to publish my blog in a timely fashion.  Last week I assured you that while the weekly entry might not be out at 9am, it would, at a minimum, be out some time on Tuesday.  Well, this week, I ask you to consider this - as one of my dedicated readers recently pointed out, aren't the days of the week nothing more than a mental construct?  What is Tuesday, really?  Isn't time merely a continuum, no matter how we try and segment it into tidy little boxes?  We track it and map it and obsess over it, but at the end of the day (probably not the ideal expression given the subject matter), is there any difference between Tuesday and Friday?  Probably not.  And that's why, when I publish this week's entry on Friday, I want you to think of it as a Tuesday.  A Tuesday that comes three days after the first Tuesday, and gives me three more days to finish this week's entry, but nonetheless, a Tuesday.
