This is a brief public service announcement.  I have not fallen into a ditch, nor am I stuck under a large boulder.  No, I just wanted my first entry of 2010 to start the year off on the right foot, so I have made a strategic decision to post this week's entry on Friday.  Why Friday?  Because Friday is the day after Thursday, and Thursday night is when Alabama and Texas square off in the BCS National Championship game.  I couldn't imagine a better way to start off 2010 than with a breakdown of the final game of the college football season, so Friday it is.  (I also got sucked into The People's Choice Awards tonight, leaving no time for any kind of substantive posting.  How hot is that werewolf guy from the Vampire movies?)
